Mama is the mother of the seven monsters in the show. She is voiced by Debra McGrath. Though without having any clear evidence in the entire series, she appears to be a retired witch. Revealed in The Winning Streak, she happens to be the second best bowler in Centerville under the nickname 10-pin Mom. Mama has an eastern European accent, and many people have placed her as being of Russian dissent. She also has the habit of speaking in broken English.
Mama is the only main character in the series who does not have a verse in the original book by Maurice Sendak.
