Appearance[]

Five is a big-bellied ghost-like monster with blue fur all over his body. He wears light orange overalls with a number 5 on them and has white eyes and horns on the top of his head. He also possesses a large blue tongue that he can control in various ways. Five has the ability to transform into any animal he desires.

In one episode, Five is depicted as a baby, coinciding with Six losing her first baby tooth. As an infant, Five is much smaller and chubby, wearing only a diaper and drinking from a bottle.

Personality[]

Five is often portrayed as the most childlike and naive among the monsters, with a voracious appetite. He has a big appetite and enjoys eating a lot, sometimes even sneaking food from Four when they are sitting together. Despite his grumpiness, he is a caring monster towards his brothers and sisters, but he shares a particularly close bond with Four. Four always looks after Five and helps him whenever needed.

Five frequently teams up with Four and participates in their plans, but due to his naivety, he often manages to mess things up.

Among all the monsters, Five displays the most animalistic behavior. Due to his limited speech, it is believed that he is the youngest member of the family, even though Seven holds the official title of being the youngest.

Quotes[]

Woof, woof. Bye bye.

Won't you be a friend don't lie!

Five want pie!

Seven good.

Take too much garbage.

Sorry. (every time he does a mistake to Four)

Trivia[]

Since Seven Little Monsters is the only show on the PBS Kids Bookworm Bunch that focuses on a group of characters rather than just one, it is unknown why Five was chosen to be that main character within the PBS Kids Bookworm bunch advertisements. However, on the website, Seven is in the circle for Seven Little Monsters.

Despite being on the same Saturday morning cartoon block on the same channel and produced by the same company (although one of them is different), Five has a somewhat similar personality to Junior from George Shrinks and Rosie from Caillou due to their speech and language development, obnoxious behaviours and sibling relationships.
